Diane has been creating art since 2000. Several of her paintings have toured Ohio through Key Bank’s Accessible Expressions Ohio (AEO) since she began entering work in 1999.
She has received several ribbons from the local fair in the Fine Arts Division and has work exhibited locally through the arts council. Several pieces were on exhibition in Sandusky Ohio in 2007 for “Artists with Aptitude”. Several pieces also appeared in the statewide art exhibition for artists with disabilities “Images Seen” which was held at the Rhodes State Office Tour in Columbus.
She has been mentioned or featured for her work in the visual arts in several newspaper articles and other publications.

Diane has taken many art classes to increase her skills as an artist and enjoys working in acrylic and mixed media and also enjoys making crafts. Many of her paintings are depictions of colorful garden scenes.

Diane spent several months volunteering at her local YMCA in the daycare area. Her interests include crafts, the Internet, computer graphics, spending time with her family and friends, traveling and dancing.
