| JOEL WHITTAKER |

 Joel has
been creating art since 1970. He has traveled extensively and paints
from memory and personal observation. Joel paints with oil, acrylic,
watercolor and pastel on canvas, paper and plywood. He has won many awards
including a first place in fine art at The University of Northern Colorado,
where his painting was chosen to be used as a Christmas card. He also
won a first place Art Design award from the National Association of Retarded
Citizens of Colorado and his work was displayed at the Fremont County
Bank in Canon City. Joel has lived in Southern Ohio for many years and
painted a mural on the wall of the former Mason Mental Retardation/ Developmental
Disabilities building in Mason around 1972. Joel enjoys traveling, camping and fishing and is employed by the Olive Garden Restaurant. NEXT ARTIST |
