Kevin Miles/Art on Main

Kevin has been creating art since 2003. He displays an innate ability to create art without having any kind of formal training. He taken many art classes to increase his skills as an artist and enjoys working in acrylic and pencil and also enjoys making crafts. Kevin has had several images touring throughout Ohio through Accessible Expressions Ohio as well as having several pieces on exhibit through the local arts council. The exhibit, which took place in Sandusky, Ohio, chose several of Kevin’s pieces to include in their show.
Several of Kevin’s pieces were featured in the statewide exhibit for artists with disabilities called, “Images Seen” which was held at the Rhodes State Office Tower. His images “Flower Heaven” was chosen as the program image in 2004 for the Lawnview Awards Banquet. In that same banquet, he received the Art on Main scholarship award. Kevin has been featured in newspaper articles as well as a video on the paper’s website about Art on Main in April 2007.

He stays very involved with advocacy for people with disabilities by attending local chapter meetings of People First of Ohio. His interests include cats & other animals, the Internet, computer graphics, listening to CD’s, video games, basketball and volleyball.
