Kim has been creating art since 1999. Several of her paintings have toured Ohio through Key Bank’s Accessible Expressions Ohio (AEO) since she began entering work in 1999. She has received several ribbons from the local fair in the Fine Arts Division and has work exhibited locally through the arts council. Kim had several pieces appear in the 2006 statewide exhibition for artists with disabilities called “Images Seen”. This event took place at the Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, Ohio. She also had work appear in the 2007 “Artists with Aptitude” exhibit in Sandusky, Ohio.

Kim has taken many art classes to increase her skills as an artist and enjoys working in pen & ink, acrylic, marker, oils and also enjoys making crafts. Kim has been mentioned or featured for her work in the visual arts in several newspaper articles and other publications. She spends time volunteering at her local YMCA and the local hospital at their front desks. Her interests include crafts, the Internet, computer graphics, mosaic art and sports.
