Sean has been creating art since 2002. He displays an innate ability to create art without having any kind of formal training. He has taken many art classes to increase his skills as an artist and enjoys working in acrylic and creating abstracts full of bright colors. Sean’s paintings have toured with Accessible Expressions Ohio (AEO) and have appeared in several exhibits through the local arts council.

Sean’s work was exhibited in Images Seen, the first Statewide exhibit featuring artists with disabilities that was held at the Ohio Statehouse in downtown Columbus, Ohio. He was featured in two newspapers in 2007. These articles discussed his award from AEO in 2007 for Best in Show for his piece “Flower Tree”. Sean’s piece competed in this exhibit with many professional artists. For earning this recognition, he received a very large yellow ribbon, certificate and a substantial cash award.

His interests include the Internet and music and he loves spending time with his family and has a talent for remembering and singing tunes. Sean’s also has a wonderful sense of humor.
