Financial and other forms of support for Art on Main are provided by both agencies. Other sources of income for the program will be generated through fundraising and grantwriting. One of the goals of Art on Main is to be financially self supporting in three years.

The Champaign County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities has been providing quality services to eligible individuals with development disabilities and their families who reside in Champaign County since 1955. The Champaign County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities has two major areas of service:

• Lawnview Child and Family Center, that includes Early Intervention (Infant Program), the Preschool Program, School-Age Services, TOTS Connection, and therapy services such as speech, the physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT).
• Adult Services which provides programs to serve eligible adults. This includes Community Employment, Self Advocacy activities, Community Connections, Sheltered Employment (Lawnview Industries), Health & Habilitation Services, ancillary services (OT/PT/speech), Family Support, Service & Supports Administration, Supported Living and Transportation.
